F.A.Q.'s - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
|
|
What does a phone
consultation consist of? |
|
An appointment with Dr.
Beilin by telephone will consist of first constructing a global and
comprehensive picture of your problem by review of your medical
history and previous laboratory tests or pathology reports. Since
Dr. Beilin is associated with some of the most advanced laboratories
and leading radiologists in Europe and the U.S., other tests may be
recommended to further clarify your diagnosis. These can usually be
performed at a nearby laboratory to you, and can be prescribed by
Dr. Beilin. A strategy is then designed to either work with your
doctor or prescriptions, and augment them in a harmonious way, or to
implement a holistic switching so a more natural method can be
evaluated and implemented. Since Dr. Beilin believes that drugs and
natural medicines both have their place, he does not tell you to
stop any prescription, but during the consultation the information
you will receive will give you the tools to determine your outcome
your own individualized way, based on your newly educated decision.
The first consult runs from 45 minutes to one hour, and may be
broken into two if further tests are required before accomplishing
the first phase. |
Does Advanced Natural
Medicine Clinic have
supplements which they furnish? |
|
Yes, many times the best
medicines are only available to doctors. This includes a wide
variety of homeopathics from Europe and unusual or high grade
medicines which are often ‘state of the art’ and are in the
cutting-edge phase. They may often be stronger and more strictly
quality controlled than the comparable health food store brands.
Dr. Beilin has an online pharmacy and also takes email orders for
these medications which he recommends. The average prescription for
a patient is about $150.00-$250.00 and this is enough for a
one-month period. A shipping/handling charge is added which ranges
from $5.00 (ground) to $25.00 (overnight services). |
|
Do I receive anything in
writing, such as a report? |
|
Yes, you receive a written
report, usually 3-5 pages and references which illustrate the logic
of the strategy plan you take. It is like a map to health, so often
neglected by ordinary physicians. Each Report contains an
explanation and critique of the conventional approach to the
disease. This might include a discussion of the innovative uses of
surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. There may be a suggestion
regarding research into a clinic in the US or Europe which is best
equipped to deal with your problem if it involves a concentrated
therapeutic program.. There is also a discussion of treatments that
the patient can do at home.
Some of them are nutritional
or involve food supplements. We have a pharmacist abroad who is
equipped to deal with any highly unusual needs, such as with our
interstitial cystitis patients who need a special extract only made
in Germany. |

What makes Dr. Dan’s
Medicine unique? |
Dr. Dan’s medicines are
based on the character and experience of Daniel Beilin, O.M.D,
Ph.D. Basically, you are getting the fruit of his knowledge,
experience, and judgment after a quarter century in this field. He
soberly evaluates the claims of both conventional and
non-conventional practitioners. Many people consider him the
world's leading expert on alternative hematology and regulation
thermography, and he has assisted some of the greatest alternative
oncologists such as Hans Nieper M.D., who treated President
Reagan’s colon cancer successfully and Thomas Rau M.D. who has
been one of the foremost oncological hospital chiefs in Europe,
with astounding success with breast and prostate cancer. Dr.
Beilin also contributed the major key to the reversal of the
creator of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)
division of the NIH, Berkely Bedell, an ex-congressman from Iowa,
as well has the fact that Dr. Beilin’s vision was acknowledged by
his testimony on women’s cancers to the US Committee on Government
Reform, held in the house of representatives in 1999, under the
leadership of a true force behind alternatives in medicine, Rep.
Dan Burton.
|
|
My doctor says that all
"alternative medicine" is "unproven"
and dangerous." What does Dr. Dan have to say about this?
|
Today, CAM (Complementary Medicine) has gained serious interest,
so much so that the Journal of the American Medical Association
has devoted a special issue to the topic, with many positive
articles. The health food industry is now a 5 billion dollar
working system in America, with over half the people turning to
alternatives. This coupled with the 4000 year old use of
pharmacological agents such as Angelica Sinensis (Tang Kuei) or
Dandelion root (Taraxicum) for liver function make alternatives
have a track record over 1000 times more sound than drug medicine,
as most drugs are obsolete within ten years due to side effects
and toxicity.
And there is still some
charlatanism in the field. Dr. Dan’s goal is to sort out what is
valuable from what is useless in the treatment of diseases such as
cancer and autoimmune disease. Dr. Dan utilizes known
laboratories to demonstrate the effect of his treatment, and
always bases his choices in treatment on current pharmacology and
immunology, - all without the use of toxic drugs.

What
happens when I make an appointment? |
Dr. Beilin’s staff will ask you to email or fax your most recent
lab work and you will before your appointment, fill out our
questionnaire so Dr Beilin can rely on basic information and data
in regards to your case. Then he and you will sit and go over
particulars, and he may ask you to get one or two tests in
addition. Sometimes his office sends a kit to do the test, like
with the stool test or heavy metal test, or he may just ask you to
email the fax number of your nearest lab for a requisition order,
then you go and have your blood drawn and the lab sends the result
back for your follow-up consult. Dr. Beilin may start you on some
supplements as you are waiting for a result, so as to start
getting you better as soon as possible.
|
|
Are the
medications an additional charge? |
Yes, the supplements are the highest grade and most of them can
only be obtained by doctors, but comparable medicines of lesser
quality are less expensive than those coming from our clinic. We
pass on the savings to you.
|
|
What if I
am already being treated by my doctor, but I want another opinion?
Does Dr. Beilin work with other doctors who may be open to adding to
my plan? |
|
Yes, Dr. Beilin will make an attempt to make a liaison with your
doctor. Occasionally the doctor does not know enough and therefore
says you may not take a natural supplement, and you must make a
choice between finding another Dr. who will work with Dr. Beilin or
not using our services, or treating the work with Dr. Beilin as
totally separate from a drug medicine plan you may be on.
|
|
Does Dr.
Beilin take people off their prescription drugs? |
|
No, he is not technically your doctor until you see him, and he is
very conservative about altering your prescription plan. Dr. Beilin
has a degree in Neurochemistry and Neurophysiology as well and
understands the nature of chemicals and alteration of plans. The
only time he will suggest you go off a drug, leaving it up to you,
is when there is a medication which has evidence of endangerment.
